New Prints from Nakatomi and Tim Doyle

International terrorist arms dealer, or slave to the torments of unrequited love? Who says a modern chrome-headed man can’t be both? This stunning seven color, artist pulled screenprint from Jacob Borshard’s ’80s Ukiyo-e’ series casts Destro in a moment of tender contemplation among fresh sprung cherry blossoms in his garden. This print is a follow up to Jacob’s amazing The Great Pony Rebellion and The Sinking of the Oruko Ship. The Deluxe details on this print include platinum-tone metallic ink, a subtle watermark Kimono pattern and a split fountain on Destro’s cherry blossom clipping. Printed on pearlescent metallic paper and limited to 25 prints in the standard edition. Also offered in a separate Super Premium edition of only 8 Ginwashi Japanese rice paper prints.

This two color wonder was done up analog from start to finish, drawn by Jacob directly on the films used to burn the screens- Now those are some Sharpie skills! The poster measures 18″ by 24″ and comes on ultra-fancy pearlescent metallic paper. A mega-limited edition of only 12 signed and numbered artist-pulled prints are offered in two colorways: ‘Kawasock-me Green’ and ‘Infra-matic Blue’, both with ‘Fresh Bruise Plum’ linework.

Black Cat Bones Gallery in Puebla, Mexico has asked Tim back to be a part of their Superhero art show. He had previously created the sold-out ‘En Los Arboles’ print for their Twin Peaks tribute. (One of my favorites Tim has done)

If anyone knows Tim, they know he loves super-heroes. So when the opportunity came up for him to participate, he took the hidden pole down to his secret lair, put his tights on and banged this out (now, that just sounds dirty).

Clint Wilson loves Todd Barry. He was going to get a tattoo of Todd Barry’s face on his face, but I had to explain to him that he would have to go bald to really pull it off. Now he’s waiting for a few years so his hair can catch up. So, when Clint got the chance to do this poster for his New Haven CT show, he jumped at it!

This 18×24 hand-pulled silkscreen print is signed and numbered in an edition of 80- and there’s only 30 available!
